This project deals with simulation, controlling of maximum power point tracking (MPPT) used in PV systems to maximize the output power of photovoltaic system, irradiation conditions irrespective of the temperature of VI characteristics of load. In this project an important maximum power point tracking technique has been developed, consisting a boost converter. The method used in the proposed PV system for tracking maximum power is perturb & observe algorithm which is directly used to take control action by duty cycle of converter for varying load voltage, thus the complexity of the PV system will be reduced. The result has high-efficiency, lower-cost and can be easily controlled and modified to handle more energy sources. MPPT is a fully electronic system. It varies the electrical operating point of the modules so that they are able to deliver maximum available power
Embedded based - Single phase PWM inverter using SG3525A PWM IC

The main aim of this project is to design of single phase full bridge inverter by using PWM IC. Generally inverter is used to get AC power from the DC power and should be meet desired output voltage and frequency. A controlling of an inverter is a very difficult task and SG 3525 PWM IC has been used for generating of switching pulses to full bridge inverter. The operating voltage range of SG 3525A PWM IC is around 8 to 35 V and operating frequencies ranges from 100Hz to 400Hz. The input voltage for the inverter is 12V and the output voltage of the inverter is given to the transformer and the output of the transformer is 230V. SG3525A PWM IC uses negative feedback to force the voltage at the inverting input. In this PWM pulse were generated at two pins those are pin 11 & pin 14. Both PWM s are generated by IC with 180 phase shift.
