Gas leakage can become a disaster for any family. In India where cooking gas is made available in Steel Canisters this type of mishaps can happen. To solve this problem, we can make a Gas Leakage detection monitor with raspberry pi 3 kit. We are using a simple MQ6 sensor.The system detects the LPG leakage using a gas sensor connected to raspberry pi that alerts the consumer about the gas leakage by sending SMS to the specified mobile number.The Gas Sensor (MQ6) module is useful for gas leakage detecting (in home and industry). It can detect LPG, natural gas, town gas and so on based on its fast response time i.e; it can detect gas fastly and acknowledge user fastly.
